ABOUT ME

WHO AM I?
Naomi John O.
Physics Enthusiast NFT Artist Humanitarian
At the tender age of 7, Naomi had an encounter which made a significant change in her perspective of the world and especially how she views her place in it. Since then, she continues to drive change, focusing on the alleviation of poverty, improvement of educational provisions and as a teenager, taken on the challenge of tackling period poverty.
During her primary school years, she was Deputy Head Girl, Prefect, Leading Citizen and Community Ambassador, roles which she delightfully thrived in. She was the first child in the history of her school to have been awarded four role badges, an achievement which Naomi was very proud of, wearing her badges of honour with great pride. In these roles, she was engaged in varying progressive projects which involved holding meetings with politicians to drive change, providing sleeping bags for the homeless, getting the community involved in the provision of food to the less privileged who use food banks and so on.
As a toddler, Naomi’s artistic talent was evident for all to see and although this was not capitalised upon, it was very encouraged, nevertheless. The source of her impeccable talent sometimes becomes the focus of family ‘debates’ as both her parents who have backgrounds in the Sciences and Finance make efforts to claim she got this skill from them. It must be said that this is extremely hard to believe as none of them has been able to master the Elements of Art which Naomi has an extensive grasp of.
Until a few years ago, Naomi wanted to be the first black Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in the morning, a Programmer in the afternoon, a Neurosurgeon at night and an Author/Illustrator during the weekend.
Now, as a 14-year-old, she is starting to realise that she may have constructed an impossible daily itinerary for herself and is therefore seeking innovative ways to merge her interests, passions, and strengths. She knows she has some important decisions to make.
Naomi is a Charity Global Ambassador for Universal Education Aid, a UK-based charity dedicated to improving educational standards in the UK and Africa and is also the Resident NFT Artist for IAMMYRIAD, a multinational NFT specialist organisation.
When Naomi is not rearranging equations, testing her codes, exploring the intricacies of the human brain, crafting her new collections of NFTs, further advancing her understanding of Spanish or drafting her stories, she plays the piano and trumpet and enjoys horse riding, fencing and discovering more of the world through travel.

My work
2015
SHARE CARE SMILE
At the age of seven, after a defining moment in my young life which resulted in the broadening of my understanding of the world beyond what I knew it to be, SHARE CARE SMILE was born, in collaboration with my sister.
Together, we facilitate action which result in the provision of clothings, shoes and food to deprived communities in Africa.
As we grew into our teenage years, we took on an additional challenge of tackling period poverty, providing menstrual products and intimate hygiene workshops to fellow young girls in Africa. Over the next coming years, we hope to expand on our reach and work, making life better for other young girls and their families.

£640 RAISED
£640 RAISED FOR WESTON HOSPITAL SCANNER APPEAL
Clevedon, an English civil parish in North Somerset holds a special place in my heart and so when at the age of nine, I heard about the Scanner Appeal of Weston General Hospital in neighbouring Weston-super-Mare, I knew that something had to be done.

SILENT NIGHT
In 2019, at Christmas, I created an artwork around the theme of Nativity: Silent Night.
Using my developing knowledge of graphic design, the 2019 Silent Night Xmas Card Project came to life and the children who had to spend the joyous season of Christmas at Kings Hospital in London knew that someone, somewhere was thinking about them.

Global Charity Ambassador
RESIDENT NFT Artist
In 2022, a UK-based charity dedicated to the improvement of educational standards, Universal Education Aid, assigned me as their voluntary Global Charity Ambassador.
In 2021, I discovered the world of NFTS and was so fascinated at the prospect of fusing my interests. My immersion into that world has resulted in the embarkment of my most incredible artistic and creative journey yet. As the Resident Artist for IAMMYRIAD, a multinational NFT specialist organisation, I continue to push boundaries within this thriving industry.
